Welcome to Brainless Intelligence blog! In this set of blog we will cover AI in Virtual Tutoring. Traditional education systems face numerous challenges, putting the quality of education in doubt. As a result, it is now time to consider a more solid and adaptive system capable of preventing challenges in the future of education process. The application of technology in education sector has increased over the last two decades, and Artificial Intelligence has emerged as a modern trend in supporting and teaching and learning of students (Han, 2018). Artificial Intelligence in Virtual Tutoring has constructed effective outcomes, which changed students perspective on learning. Artificial Intelligence has offered students new tailored and different approaches to the learning experience (Palanivel, 2020). The process is based on students learning capabilities and understanding, Artificial Intelligence tracks students’ progress, identifies the areas that student is particularly failing or not capable of completing, observes every individual that needs more support in learning. It allows Artificial Intelligence to map out and use the algorithms to collect the data and provide a suitable learning outcome (Palanivel, 2020). Artificial Intelligence in Virtual Tutoring is based on video synthesis, which gives students one-on-one attention and bridges the gap between learning and teaching. The individual will be given tailored educational materials developed by artificial intelligence based on the student's data obtained (Kim, Cho, and Lee, 2013). The main aspects in which Artificial Intelligence concentrates and provides helpful insights in virtual tutoring: Adapts to the student, all the materials are provided at the right time and to the right student. Customised lessons created based on the student analysis and the feedback provided. Artificial Intelligence adjusts if it observes difficulties from the student (Palanivel, 2020). Supplies continuous teaching and based on this information that Artificial Intelligence collects can detect and propose new skills and new training paths only based on the one student, allowing the student to adapt to multiple environments. Students learn new techniques, which is more engaging than doing in the whole class (Guessoum, 2018). Smart learning, focus on capturing Big Data for Artificial Intelligence, which later allows supporting more developed and personalised adapting education to the student. Smart learning orients students into the independent learning context to engage with Virtual Tutoring (Guessoum, 2018) Smart Virtual Tutoring is how the student is treated as a recipient of meaningful information based on the environment, which is rapidly changing. Artificial Intelligence must develop the proper manner to understand student struggles. Approaches and strategies are based on tracking student time spent on completing the given tasks, abilities, and the effort in engagement. Artificial Intelligence can make future performance predictions, allowing the teacher to form feedback on the collected information. Artificial Intelligence improve techniques to deliver higher quality education to the student. Also, the teacher can develop a deeper understanding of the student’s efforts in the learning environment (Benkhelifa, Welsh and Hamouda, 2018). Virtual Tutoring advances in the real world because students are more accepting of modern learning through the virtual world. Virtual Tutoring with Artificial Intelligence gives students more flexibility, and it can be accessed from anywhere and through any device. IoT technology provides Artificial Intelligence with coupled sensors to capture, and store required algorithms and process the Big Data to value Virtual Tutoring. IoT improves efficiency in administrative tasks for Artificial Intelligence, combined with channelling multiple applications in e-content. Artificial Intelligence technology defines objectives to eliminate failure and deliver high performance in Virtual Tutoring (Guessoum, 2018). This modern technology development in education has the advantage to domain and attract more students to higher education. Artificial Intelligence in Virtual Tutoring has shown to be more reliable and more prominent in attendance. This proves that interaction and learning time is enhanced with Virtual Tutoring than based on the traditional classroom teaching (Palanivel, 2020).
